Food Grade Ion Exchange Resin 001×7FG
Ion exchange resin is a high-acid gel type cation exchange resin with high exchange capacity, chemical and physical stability and excellent performance.
Ion exchange resin is a highly acidic cathion-exchange resin of the gel type, with high exchange capacity, chemical and physical stability and excellent performance.Ion exchange resin pod effectively removes hardness salts, as well as iron and manganese ions.
The high exchange capacity allows to obtain water with a total rigidity of about 0.05 mg-eq / l, and the excellent kinetics of ion exchange-to achieve high flow rates. In the case of Ion exchange resin , the penetration of ions that cause the hardness of water under normal operating conditions, as a rule, does not exceed 1% of the total hardness of the original water. At the same time, the exchange capacity of the resin is practically unchanged, provided that the proportion of univalent ions does not exceed 25%.
Ion exchange resin is not soluble in acid and alkaline solutions and in all conventional organic solvents. The presence of residual oxidants in water (e.g. free chlorine or hypochlorite ozone ions) can reduce the mechanical strength of cation exchange resin particles. It is thermally stable to a temperature of 120 °C, but at high temperatures the exchange capacity of cation exchange resin in acid (H +) form decreases.
