A three-way valve is installed before each filter and connected to its drain port. It allows the cleaning of the filter element by backwashing the solid particles accumulated on it with a reverse water flow. This enables the filter to be reused multiple times, reducing the need for frequent replacement. The water, after passing through the disc filter, is discharged into the sewer.
